Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin is a Canadian and New Zealand actress. Paquin was born in Winnipeg and was raised by Wellington Paquin's acting debut was as Flora McGrath. For this part, she was awarded an Academy Award of Best Supporting Actress for the romantic drama The Piano at the young age of 11. Paquin was in a brief role in the film's title role when she was still a kid in Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (1996) as well as a lead part in the film Fly Away Home (1996). Paquin had a small role in the 1997 TV movie version of Carson McCullers' novel The Member of the Wedding. She also played the queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's Amistad (2007). She portrayed teens as teens in Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (1998), A Walk on the Moon (1998) as well as Almost Famous (2000). She also portrayed the groupie Polexia Aphrodisa.
