Paula Patton (born in 1960) is an American actress. She has also produced films, including Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Growing up in Los Angeles with a middle-class mother, Patton had many dreams. Her mother was a film lover and was a constant source of encouragement to her love for films when she was a kid. Paula became involved in many co-curricular events at school and had a particular interest in dramatics. She was a huge fan of acting with her friends and participated in her school's stage productions. She performed in numerous high school plays at Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and decided to pursue acting as her career. She enjoyed her summer at University of Southern California. The program gave her a three month assignment to make documentary films for PBS. Her career began as a TV production assistant after completing this assignment. When she was done with her work, she started producing documentary films. But she still had a desire to be an actor, even though she was satisfied at her position. The romantic comedies Hitch she played a tiny part with Will Smith. Since then, she's appeared in many productions and films.
