Lowell started acting in Dangerously Close, followed by a small part in Club Paradise, starring as Robin Williams. The roles she played included co-starring alongside Bond girl Pam Bouvier, in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989), and as Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross, in 1996. She also appeared on Law & Order for two seasons. In 2005, she played the same role as Jamie Ross on Law & Order: Trial by Jury. In 2022 she was back on the show's original. The actress was unhappy with her acting career, so she decided to apply to New York University to study documentary filmmaking. [4] She took a hiatus from acting in the mid-2000s.
